UPDATED: Two Teenagers Shot in Providence at Vigil

The victims were an 18-year-old female and a 14-year-old male.
The incident occurred on Julian Street in the Olneyville section of the city.

Providence in a statement issued at 10:00 PM:
Earlier this evening, at approximately 7:00 p.m., Providence Police Officers responded to Julian Street for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, police located a 14-year-old juvenile who sustained a gunshot wound to the foot. Officers were later notified of a second shooting victim, an 18-year-old female, who had been transported to the Providence Fire Department on Washington Street, and then transported to RI Hospital. She sustained two gunshot wounds to her body and was alert and conscious. At the time that this incident occurred, there was a large memorial gathering at the intersection of Julian and Amherst Streets.
