Shooting Near Islamic Center of RI in Providence - One Sent to Hospital
Late Friday morning, Providence Police responded to a shooting at 39 Haskins Street -outside of the location of the Islamic Center of Rhode Island.

A man in the area was shot and was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to Providence Police, from the shooting, multiple shell casings were located on the scene.
Providence detectives are handling the investigation.
It is not known if this was tied to the issue relating to the Hamas and Israeli war.
