Building Inspector Placed on Leave by City of Providence, After Former Director of Inspections Fired

The City of Providence has confirmed that Building Inspector Stan Dickenson has been placed on administrative leave.

The revelation comes just weeks after former Director of Inspections and Standards Jeffrey Lykins was fired by the city.

On Friday, the city refused to answer if Dickenson’s leave was tied to Lykins’ departure — and the city’s current internal investigation into the city’s permitting process.
