Gas prices are still climbing, inching up another penny this week, according to AAA Southern New England.

The average price of self-serve regular unleaded gas was $3.19 per gallon, according to AAA. Prices ranged from a low of $3.13 to a high of $3.29.

The increase marks the fifth straight week of rising prices.

One year ago the average price in Rhode Island was $2.75.
