Magaziner Victorious in Democratic Congressional Primary, Setting Up Showdown With Fung

It wasn't even close.

Rhode Island General Treasurer Seth Magaziner ran away with the victory on Tuesday in the Democratic primary for Rhode Island's Second Congressional seat. 

With over 90% of ballots counted at 9:30 PM, Magaziner had over 54% of the vote.

David Segal had 15.8% followed by Sarah Morgenthau at 12.1%.

Magaziner now faces the GOP nominee, former Cranston Mayor Allan Fung, in November.

Fung was uncontested in the GOP primary.
