Magaziner Ignores Other Democrats and Takes Message to Fung

Democratic candidate for the second congressional district Seth Magaziner is ignoring his fellow Democratic rivals for the Democratic nomination and he is directing messages to the GOP frontrunner.

Magaziner released the following statement after the House passed the Inflation Reduction Act on Friday. And, Magaziner chided GOP candidate Allan Fung.

“This historic legislation will reduce the cost of gas and prescription drugs, and move America towards energy independence. It is disappointing Allan Fung will vote in lock-step with the far-right Republicans that care more about obstruction than getting things done for working people,” said Magaziner.

Magaziner assets that the Inflation Reduction Act reduces costs by allowing Medicare to negotiate drug prices for the first time, caps out-of-pocket costs at $2,000 for drugs, protects Affordable Care Act subsidies, expands domestic energy to lower gas prices, and lowers the federal deficit by $200 billion.

Fung is on record saying he would not have supported the legislation.
