Missing Warwick Woman’s Body Found Buried in Foster

It is now confirmed that the body found near 88 Plainfield Pike, Foster, last Wednesday has been identified as that of the Warwick woman who was reported missing in August of 2024.

The Rhode Island State Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed that the deceased is Michele Romano, age 56.

She was reported missing by a family member to the Warwick Police Department on August 18, 2024.

An investigation is currently underway to examine the suspicious circumstances surrounding Romano’s death.
