The Walgreen’s parking lot on Federal Hill was the scene of a brutal attack in 2019 in which Stephan Cabral was murdered.

This was the seventh shooting in the city since Thursday.

About Incident

Police were sent to 333 Atwells Avenue -- the location of a Walgreen's drugstore -- for a report of a shooting on Sunday shortly after 9:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, police encountered a male victim bleeding from his head, where he said a bullet had grazed him.

The man told police when he was driving into the parking lot looking for a parking space when a male driving another vehicle approached him and made comments.

A fight reportedly ensued when both men exited their vehicles.

The victim told police the suspect then threatened to shoot him and pulled out a firearm; the victim said he tried to knock it away and that is when the suspect fired a round.

According to the victim, the suspect then fled.

Police are currently investigating.
