Bank Robbery in Providence Reported Thursday Morning — Second in Two Days
Police are responding to a report of a bank robbery in the city on Thursday morning.
According to police, the robbery took place at the Citizens Bank at 270 Academy Avenue.
A male suspect reportedly passed a teller a note, and took off with an undisclosed amount of money.

On Wednesday, GoLocal reported that another bank robbery had taken place.
According to police, it occurred at the Santander Bank at 1025 Smith Street.
Police say a note was given to a teller, and that no weapon was reportedly used.
