Three People Shot Outside Nightclub in Providence

Providence police are investigating a shooting of multiple people in the city overnight. 

The victims — all males — were in the vicinity of a nightclub when they were shot.

About Incident 

At approximately 2:30 AM on Sunday, police detail at Rhode Island Hospital reported that three gunshot victims had been dropped off.

The driver of one of the victims said that he had just left Levels Lounge at 1137 Broad Street and was walking toward the parking lot at the neighboring Rent-A-Center when he heard gunshots. 

The victims, according to police, have non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said upon investigating the scene that they observed several bullet holes in the windows of the Rent-A-Center. 

Levels Lounge is facing emergency closure due to the incident. 

Detectives are currently investigating.
