About Incident
Police responded to the corner of Charles Street and Orms Street shortly before 1 PM on Wednesday for the report of shots fired.
The victim — a female in her 20s — said she had been driving on Filmore Street when the passenger of a heavily tinted sedan brandished an unknown object out the window.
She said she then heard multiple gunshots at which time she fled the scene and then called police.
Officers said they observed the front bumper of the car to appear to have ballistic damage from a gunshot.
Arresting Individuals
Police say a description of the suspects’ vehicle was broadcast over law enforcement channels.
Lincoln Police stopped a vehicle matching the description on Wednesday night.
A handgun was reportedly found in the vehicle.
Two males were arrested and turned over to Providence police for charging.
