Police Arrest Men Wearing Ski Masks With Loaded Weapons in Providence - One Wanted for Murder in NY

According to police, shortly after 10 PM they noticed individuals wearing ski masks in a parked vehicle.
Upon investigation, police said they found loaded guns, and upon running background checks, discovered one of the individuals was wanted in New York on murder charges.

About Incident
Police said that at approximately 10:15 PM Friday night, officers were driving on Ashton Avenue — a block off of Branch Avenue — when they noticed a parked vehicle, in which they observed occupants to be wearing ski masks.
The officers stopped to investigate and approached the driver — identified as Joseph Green, age 22, of Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Police say they asked Green to step out of the vehicle, at which time they found a loaded weapon on him.
Then, police said they asked the front passenger to step out, who identified himself as “Maleek Robinson.”
The rear passenger — identified as Janniel Altidor, age 20, of Brooklyn, New York — was also removed from the vehicle. All three men were placed in handcuffs.
Police said that upon searching the vehicle, they found and seized two additional loaded weapons.
Upon “Robinson” being fingerprinted at Central Station, police said he came back as Moustapha Diop, age 20, out of Brooklyn, NY.
Diop came back with an active arrest warrant for murder out of Brooklyn which was confirmed with NYPD.
All three subjects were charged with possession of a firearm without a license as well as conspiracy to possess a firearm without a license for the firearm located in a backpack.
Diop was also charged with possession of arms by a fugitive from justice.
