RI State Police Charge Driver With DUI in Head-On Collision - One in Critical Condition

According to the Rhode Island State Police, on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at approximately 9:30 PM, Troopers responded to Ten Road at Arcadia Road in Exeter to investigate a head-on motor vehicle collision. 

The juvenile operator of one vehicle was transported with minor injuries and the juvenile passenger was transported with critical injuries.

The operator of the second vehicle identified as Alexander Krajewski, age 30, of North Kingstown, RI was not injured and was arrested and charged with

1) Driving to Endanger, Resulting in Personal Injury,

2) Driving to Endanger, Resulting in Personal Injury,

3) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor or Drugs, Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury,

4) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor or Drugs, Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury. Krajewski was processed at the Hope Valley Barracks and released.

The two vehicles involved sustained significant damage and were towed from the scene. The collision remains under investigation.
