“There was an isolated incident at the A-Venture Academy Friday in which a teacher was allegedly pushed by a student.  There were no injuries reported and there were no charges filed,” said PPSD spokesperson Suzanne Ouellete.

“The school had a restorative circle that was conducted between the teacher and the student,” she said. “The community was not notified since it was isolated incident.”

Charges were filed by Providence Police on Monday, however - who said the student “punched” the teacher.

“We have charged the juvenile with disorderly conduct,” Providence Police Major David Lapatin told GoLocal.
