Former Ponaganset High School Teacher Under Investigation by RISP

The Rhode Island State Police Special Victims Unit announced on Friday that it had initiated an investigation at the beginning of October into the extent of alleged inappropriate conduct by a former teacher at Ponaganset High School.

Alisha Crins, 39, has resigned from her teaching position, school officials confirmed last week.

 

This investigation is ongoing and is being conducted in coordination with the Office of the Attorney General. Ponaganset High School administrators have been cooperative throughout this investigation, claimed the State Police in their announcement.

 

No further public comment will be made at this time as this is an active investigation, said the State Police.
