Twin Baby Boys Found Along Railroad Tracks in Worcester, Police Investigating

Twin baby boys were found abandoned along railroad tracks in Worcester on Wednesday morning, according to Worcester Police.

The children have been identified and are currently in DCF custody.

Worcester Police Detectives and DCF are investigating the case.

The Investigation

According to Worcester Police, on the morning of July 3 at about 12:15 a.m., Worcester Police were sent to a Cambridge St. address for a check on the welfare.

Railroad employees located twin baby boys, approximately nine months old, by themselves in the area of the railroad tracks near Kansas St.

The employees called 911 and paramedics responded and took the children to the hospital.

According to police, the babies appeared to be unharmed.
