The majority of Rhode Islanders believe the state is “on the wrong track.”

Today is a day to take control.  One power, right, and obligation that that all of us enjoy is the power to vote.

On primary day, hundreds of Rhode Islanders are running  across the state for offices ranging from town council and school committee to those running for United State Congress.

In 1960, John Chafee won the Governorship by less than 400 votes.

There are dozens of competitive General Assembly races that will be decided today during the primaries across the state.

Some voters will help to decide the fate of the House Majority Leader, others will determine which Republican will face-off against the Speaker of the House, and others will have a voice regarding our members of Congress.

Get out today and vote. It’s your opportunity to be heard and the chance to reshape Rhode Island.
