Emily's List calls on Fung to "come clean on his anti-choice positions"
Women in politics support group Emily’s List is criticizing gubernatorial candidate Allan Fung for “not coming clean on his anti-choice positions.”

Emily’s List, along with Planned Parenthood, endorsed Gina Raimondo for governor.

Christina Reynolds, Emily’s List Vice President of communications, released the following statement:

"With access to reproductive health care under existential threat, Allan Fung can't get away with remaining silent on legislation that protects women's health care access while also heralding his support from anti-choice voters. Fung should have the courage to tell women to their faces that he intends to be an anti-choice governor. Rhode Islanders need to know that Gina Raimondo is the candidate who will continue to defend the right of women and families to make their own health care choices."

Fung vs Morgan in Primary

As GoLocalProv reported, a new poll released by Fung’s campaign shows him with a commanding lead in the Republican primary.

In a three-way race:

Fung             62%

Morgan         22%

Feroce           4%

Undecided   10%

According to Fung’s campaign, the Cranston Mayor leads across every GOP subgroup, including those who define themselves as very conservative, Right to Life voters, Trump supporters, and 2A voters. His lead is largest in the West Bay (73%) where both he and Representative Morgan reside. Morgan has refuted the poll results claiming the poll was a "push poll."

The poll of 400 likely Republican primary voters taken July 11-14th by nationally respected pollsters Public Opinion Strategies, Cranston Mayor Allan Fung enjoys a forty-point lead over his nearest opponent.
