Governor McKee Shuffles Top Staffers — "Temporarily"
Governor Dan McKee moving senior staffers Governor Dan McKee on Friday announced two major staff changes — less than 30 days into office.
McKee announced that two top staffers will change roles and says the moves are “temporary.”
According to McKee’s announcement, “Chief of Staff Anthony Silva has been assigned as the Lead COVID Administrator tasked with leading efforts on all matters concerning COVID-19 within the Governor's Office. Until further notice, Senior Deputy Chief of Staff Antonio Afonso, Jr, Esq. has been designated as Acting Chief of Staff. He will oversee all non-COVID-19 matters within the Governor's Office.”
