On Monday, “Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. and the Republican National Committee (RNC) announced the members of the Trump Victory effort” — former State Representative Doreen Costa and Block Island Republican Chair Jerry Zarrella.
“Our Rhode Island Trump Victory leadership team will work to elect Republicans across the state,” said Brad Parscale, Campaign Manager of Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. and Ronna McDaniel, Chairwoman of the RNC, in a joint statement.

In 2016 in Rhode Island, Hillary Clinton received 54.4% of the vote, with 252,252 votes cast.
Trump got 180,543 votes for 38.9%.
Nationally, Trump received 62,984,828 of the popular vote for 46.1%, while Clinton got 65,853,514 for 48.2%.
Trump prevailed in the electoral vote, 304 to 227.
