Sanders Surges Ahead of Biden in New Democratic Presidential Primary Poll

The CNN poll released Wednesday morning shows Sanders with the backing of 27% of registered Democratic voters, and ahead of 24% favoring former Vice President Joe Biden — marking the first time Biden has not held a solo lead in CNN’s national polling.
According to CNN’s polling, Sanders has gained 7 points since the last CNN poll on the race in December.
