The BENRUS Open at The Preserve will take place on Thursday, June 18 and will feature 35 amateurs, 72 PGA pros and 49 mini tour pros.
The field includes Rhode Island golf Hall of Famer, Paul Quigley to young and upcoming golf stars like Megan Khang and Patrick Welch along with Boston College player Brian Butler.
The winner of the BENRUS Open will receive $25,000 and players will be paid up to 40th place, which is worth $1,000.
Other prizes include up to four BMW' for a hole in one on specific holes, trips to Bermuda, a luxury sports enthusiast package, closest to the pin challenges and an optional skins game.
The tournament will be taped for a later telecast by NESN and live scoring will be available through the New England PGA's website.
The pros competing in The BENRUS Open for a $100,000 purse are:
Mike Capone – RI Local whose played on the PGA Tour, European Tour and Asian Tour, playing in over 57 countries. RI Amateur and RI State Open champion.
Brad Adamonis – RI Local whose played on the PGA and Web.com Tour
PH Horgan – RI Local whose played on the PGA Tour and Web.com Tour, as well as the Champions Tour
Danny Balin – Met Section player who just won a South American PGA Tour event
Guy Boros – Current Champions Tour player and past PGA Tour player
Grant Waite - Current Champions Tour player and past PGA Tour player
Mike Small – 3 Time PGA Professional National Champion, arguably the best club professional in the country
Bob Sowards – Won the PGA Professional National Championship, Won Player of the year in Ohio more than 10 times
Geoffrey Sisk – Local New England player who has won every state open. Has played on the PGA and Web.com Tour as well.

Nancy Diemoz – One of the best women amateur players in the state, she is the only woman that got through the qualifier to make it to the finals.

Midville Country Club is a nine hole course that spreads over 2,935 yards, adding up to a par 70, for 18 holes (play the nine holes twice from different tees.)
18 holes with a car at Midville during the week will cost you $59 while walking will cost you #39. .
On the weekend, 18 holes with a cart will cost you $63, while you can walk for $43.
Midville Country Club is located on 100 Lombardi Lane in West Warwick, Rhode Island.
Cranston Country Club opened in 1974 and is an 18 hole course that stretches over 6,636 yards from the back tees, adding up to a par 71. Cranston CC located on 69 Burlingame Rd in Cranston, Rhode Island.
18 Holes with a cart will cost you $59 or you can walk for $41 from Monday to Thursday.
Prices go up slightly on the weekend as 18 holes with a cart will cost you $65 while walking will cost you $47.
Meadow Brook Golf Course is one of the newest and longest public golf courses in Rhode Island, stretching 7400 yards from the back trees, adding up to a par 72. Meadow Brook originally opened in 1929 but since being purchased by the Hendrick Family in 2006, has been completely renovated.
