What are you looking forward to this season?

What has been the biggest challenge being a high school athlete?
Golf is always a challenge, and high school golf is no exception. The hardest part of being a high school golfer is having to spend all day in school and then going out to play in a match; usually before tournaments outside of school, I have around three hours to prepare myself for a round of golf. In high school matches, I don't have that opportunity.
What is your biggest motivator?
My biggest motivator has always been my future, and how my life to come will play out. My parents have always taught me to better myself in the present, so that I can enjoy a better future.
Who is your biggest rival?
I'd say my two biggest rivals are John Jackopsic and Andy Mai, both with whom I've had some pretty intense battles with out on the course.
What are you working to improve your game?
Everything. Golf is a game where everything has to come together in order to shoot a low number, and therefore everything must be improved for me to be successful.
What is your greatest memory on the Course?
Definitely last year at the New England Junior Amateur at Abenaqui Country Club in Rye Beach, NH. After I won the playoff to win the tournament, I was embraced by each of my Rhode Island teammates. It's definitely a moment that I'll never forget for as long as I live.
How are you able to balance your schoolwork with practices, games, and training?
I get home from school each day from practice at around 6:30, which leaves me about three hours or so to do my homework. Sometimes I have more, so I have to stay up a little later than usual.
Where do you see yourself going from here, do you plan to pursue this sport in college?
I am attending Old Dominion University next year as a member of the golf team. I'll have to see where the sport takes me from there.
