How has your season been going?
So far our season has been exciting and competitive. Everyone on our team is beginning to mesh and click together, and it is really a fun team to be a part of!

The biggest challenge is being able to be a positive role model for all my teammates. I am a three-sport varsity captain and at times, I am going to get frustrated, but the challenging part is being able to rise above adversity and keep everyone positive and confident.
Who is your biggest motivator?
My biggest motivators are my teammates; I want to play my hardest every time I am on the field for them. I want to bring them to a state championship, and that is what drives me everyday.
Who is your biggest rival?
In lacrosse our biggest rival is Barrington. Barrington is a competitive team just like ours and we know they always come to play and so it is a good feeling when we are able to compete and be victorious against them.
What are you working to improve your game?
To improve my game I am working on different explosive moves that I can use to beat a defender. I am also working on playing strong and constant defense in the attacking zone. My communication can always be improved as well.
What is your greatest memory on the field?
My greatest memory on the field was last year in the first round of playoffs versus North Kingstown. It was 100 degrees out and the game was a battle the whole time. There was around a minute left and my captain, Kristen Oh, had to push me down the field saying "You can do it." This motivation from her helped me to be the captain that I am today. Knowing that no matter what there was always someone pushing me to my full potential was something that I will cherish forever.
How are you able to balance your schoolwork with practices, games, and training?
Balancing my schoolwork with sports is sometimes a challenge, however, I have been fully dedicated to sports and it is something that I am proud of. I make plenty of time for homework and studying (after school, practices, and games) but when I am playing sports, it's the only thing on my mind.
Where do you see yourself going from here, do you plan to pursue this sport in college?
Next year I will be attending Purdue University. Unfortunately, I will not be playing college lacrosse, however hopefully I will be able to play club lacrosse at some point during my college career.
