Justin Rose Wins Golf's First Olympic Gold Medal in 112 Years

Great Britain's Justin Rose held off Henrik Stenson the Matt Kuchar to win golf's first Olympic gold medal in 112 years on Sunday in Rio. The last time a gold medal was awarded in the game of golf was in the 1904 Summer Olympics which were held in St. Louis. 

Rose is a past US Open champion and is currently ranked 11th in the world. His best finish so far this season was a third place finish at the Wells Fargo Championship.
