NEW: NY Jets Fined $100,000 For Tampering With Revis

Darrelle Revis
The New York Jets have been fined $100,000 for tampering charges that were filed by the Patriots regarding cornerback Darrelle Revis, according to the New York Daily News. However, New York will not lose a draft pick.

Revis signed a five year deal worth $70 million with the Jets after spending one season in New England and winning the Super Bowl.

The signing came after Jets owner Woody Johnson said that he would "love for Darrelle to come back" in a press conference during the season.

New York filed tampering charges against the Patriots and owner Robert Kraft for comments that he made about Revis, however, the Patriots will not be fined.

The Patriots and Jets will meet for the first time on October, 25 at Gillette Stadium. Their second meeting will not come until the second to last game of the season in New York.
