Nguyen, Kamara Lead Revs to 3-1 Win Over Crew

The New England Revolution (5-7-7) defeated the (3-7-7) Columbus Crew 3-1 on Saturday night at Gillette Stadium. The win snaps a 3 three losing streak. 

Columbus' Ola Kamara scored in the 42nd minute to cut the Revs 2-0 lead to 2-1 entering the half. 

In the second half, New England's Kei Kamara fired a ball into the back of the net after two Crew defenders ran into each other in the 71st minute to give New England a commanding 3-1 lead and the win.

The Revs got on the board early in this one when Lee Nguyen scored in the 3rd minute and then the Revs got the benefit of a Crew own goal courtesy of Will Trap in the 34th minute. 

The revolution return to action on Saturday, July 16 when they face Real Salt Lake at 10 p.m. at Rio Tinto Stadium.
