Patriots Trade Draft Pick to Eagles for Cornerback Eric Rowe

Eric Rowe
The New England Patriots acquired cornerback Eric Rowe from the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for a conditional draft pick. The pick is a 4th rounder that could become a third pick depending on how much Rowe plays.

Patriots offensive lineman Josh Kline was originally part of the deal, however, he was later removed.

Rowe is now in his 2nd NFL season after playing in all 16 games last season for Philly.

A 2015 2nd round draft pick, Rowe recorded 5 passes defensed in his first season as a pro.

At 6’1” 205 pounds, Rowe adds depth and size to the Patriots cornerback position. Logan Ryan, Justin Coleman and Malcolm Butler are all 5’11” while rookie Cyrus Jones is 5’10.”

Rowe also has some experience playing safety.
