Revs Beat Fire 2-0 for 2nd Win of Season

The New England Revolution (2-3-7) defeated the (1-4-4) Chicago Fire 2-0 on Saturday night at Gillette Stadium. The revs earned only their second win of the season. 

New England got on the board in the 22nd minute on a goal from Lee Nguyen who played a short corner kick and then got to the left side unmarked. Nguyen then one timed a pass from Caldwell into the back of the net. 

The Revs held onto the 1-0 lead the entire way until Femi Hollinger-Janzen made it 2-0 on a header in the 84th minute.

Kia Kamara 

The game marked the New England debut of Kia Kamara who the Revs got in a trade from the Columbus Crew. 

Kamara scored 22 goals for the Crews last season which tied for the most in the MLS.

New England returns to action on Saturday, May 21 when they host FC Dallas at Gillette Stadium. The game begins at 7:30 p.m.
