Revs Come Back Falls Short, Lose 4-2 to LA Galaxy

The New England Revolution (1-3-7) fell 4-2 to the (5-1-3) LA Galaxy on Sunday afternoon in LA. 

The Revolution trailed 3-0 in the second half before Kelyn Rowe and Juan Agudelo scored two goals just minutes apart to cut their deficit to one at 3-2. Agudelo's goal came in the 70th minute while Rowe's goal came int he 67th. 

However, LA would ice the game on a goal by Steven Gerrard in the 93rd minute to get the win.

Galaxy Take Early Control 

The Galaxy took early control in this game when Robbie Keane took a cross from Gyasi Zardes and put it in the back of the net at the 13 minute mark to put LA up 1-0. 

LA went up 2-0 on a goal by Giovani dos Santos in the 24th minute and then 3-0 on another goal by Keane in the 45th minute.  This was Keane's first game back have having knee surgery. 

Next up 

The Revolution return to action on Saturday, May 14 when they host Chicago at Gillette Stadium. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
