Revs Fall to Red Bulls 1-0

The New England Revolution (6-12-9) fell 1-0 to the (11-9-7) New York Red Bulls on Sunday afternoon in Harrison, New Jersey. The Revs are now winless in their last six games. 

Meanwhile, the Red Bulls extend their undefeated streak to nine games and move into a third place tie in the Eastern Conference with the Philadelphia Union. 

The lone goal of the game came from New York's Bradley Wright-Phillips at the 55 minute part who  put the ball back in the net off a deflection by Revs goalkeeper Brad Knighton after he had turned away a show from Alex Muyl.

New England return to action on Saturday, September 3 when they host Colorado at Gillette Stadium.
