Sky Chiefs Come Up Just Short, Lose to Baltimore 100-98

The #10 Providence Sky Chiefs (12-7) fell to the (12-3) #4 Baltimore Hawks 100-98 on Friday night at Woonsocket High school. The Sky Chiefs lose to Baltimore for the second time this season  and now have dropped three straight games overall. 

In a tightly contested game, Baltimore's Alfonso Hawkins knocked down two free throws with 1.4 seconds left in the game to put Baltimore up 100-98. The Sky chiefs made a last ditch effort but came up short. 

Providence was led by mark Alexander who netted 21 points in the game while Kelvin Davis followed up with 17.

Baltimore's Jerome Rheubottom led all scorers with a game high 27 points. 

The Sky Chiefs return to action on Sunday, February 22 when they visit Libertyville Illinois to take on the  Vipers.
