The New England Patriots head to Buffalo to take on the Bills in an early-season battle for first place in the AFC East on Sunday afternoon.

Both New England and Buffalo come into the game with 3-0 records.

“They play well at home; it’s a great environment. So, it’s pretty tough, it’s pretty tough. It’s a great challenge. They’re 3-0, they’re off to a great start, they’ve got a very good football team and it’s going to be really a great environment for football,” said Patriots quarterback Tom Brady during his press conference on Wednesday.

Patriots running back James White added, “It's a great challenge. Every time we play these guys they give us a great game. They're a physical defense. They're smart guys. They disguise well. They're good at the defensive line, linebackers, at the safety position, corners. They have everything they need.”

Game time is set for 1 p.m.

Sunday’s game will be the 119th meeting all-time between the two franchises with the Patriots leading the series 74-43-1.

New England won both meetings with the Bills last season, including a 25-6 win in Buffalo.

“We went there last year on Monday night. It was a back and forth, low scoring, tough game. I think that’s the type of battles they want to have there, and the crowd was in it from the beginning to the end. So, we know it’s going to be the same type of game Sunday,” said Patriots safety Devin McCourty during his press conference on Wednesday.

The last Buffalo win was in October of 2016 when they shut out the Patriots 16-0 at Gillette Stadium.
