BankRI Celebrates Opening of East Providence Branch

Bank Rhode Island welcomed elected officials from the City of East Providence as well as members of the local business community to celebrate the opening of its relocated branch at 77 Highland Avenue during a ceremonial ribbon cutting on Friday.

The branch officially opened for business on Monday, November 16.

“We are constantly looking at ways to enhance the banking experience for our loyal customers and potential customers, and with this relocation, we’re able to accomplish that on a number of levels. Not only is this an important market for our Bank, it’s one in which we see a lot of potential for growth, in both East Providence and the surrounding East Bay and Massachusetts communities," said Mark Meiklejohn, President and CEO of BankRI

The new branch features the addition of a drive  up ATM, two drive up transaction lanes and more parking on the Bank's site.

Inside, customers will have access to BankRI's full line of personal and business banking products and services, along with more private office space for individual consultations with financial professionals.
