The law firm of Duffy & Sweeney announced the addition of Julissa Arce to the firm.
Julissa Arce is an associate at the firm and plays an active role on the Real Estate & Land Use team. She joined D&S in 2025, bringing her experience in land use and municipal law to the firm. She has represented private developers and property owners in all aspects of real estate development. She also has experience representing public clients as acting solicitor for various municipal boards and commissions.
Admitted to practice law in Rhode Island, she is a graduate of Roger Williams University School of Law (J.D. magna cum laude, 2023) and Roger Williams University ( B.S. magna cum laude, Business Law 2021).
A resident of Providence, Arce serves on the Providence Historic District Commission and the Providence Green and Complete Streets Advisory Council. She is a member of the board of the Federal Hill House Association, whose mission is to help those in Federal Hill and the surrounding community thrive at every stage of life. She is also a participant of the Rhode Island Bar Association Leadership Academy, Class of 2024-2025.
