Mott & Chace Sotheby's International announced Wednesday that they are pleased to welcome Alexandra Thursby to their team.

Thursby is a native of the area. She was born and raised in Little Compton, RI and spent her summers in Westport Harbor, MA. She earned a BA in Economics and Environmental Science at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA.

After spending much of her early years working in Finance, Sales, Commercial and Corporate Real Estate in NY, Boston and Chicago, she made her way back to Rhode Island to settle permanently. With her professional background, intimate knowledge of the area, and being an owner/landlord of a house in Newport it was a natural transition for her to build a career in residential real estate.

Now with over a decade as a top producer, her many friends and associates throughout the area continue to give her a broad perspective of residential, vacation, and investment properties. As a real estate professional, she brings experience and integrity to her clients ensuring that she meet all of their real estate needs.

Thursby is an avid skier and tennis player. She is a lifelong member of the Acoaxet Club, Elephant Rock Beach Club, and Spindle Rock Club in Westport Harbor, MA. She currently resides in Portsmouth, RI with her husband, Scott, her son, Tripp. her dog, Belle, and her cat, Joon.
