Newport Art Museum To Hold Three Talks By Artists
The Newport Art Museum will host a Meet the Artists event on July 9 in the John N.A. Griswold House.
Three different free talks will will be given by contemporary artists and each will run for about half an hour.

GET THE LATEST BREAKING NEWS HERE -- SIGN UP FOR GOLOCAL FREE DAILY EBLASTAt 5:30 p.m., Peter Marcus will speak on his exhibition, The New American Family, and how traditional identification lines are now being blurred.
At 6 p.m., Roger Birn will talk about his work, Animal Krackers, in which he photographs disregarded items in a new light. Lastly, Janet Prip will speak at 6:30 p.m. about her exhibition, New Work, which features several large-scale sculptures.
