Providence Preservation Society Announces Annual Winter Bash

The Providence Preservation Society has announced its annual Winter Bash theme party.

The theme of this year’s party is “The Category Is: Studio 54.”

The party will take place on Saturday, February 29 from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at the future Bucklin Plaza, located at 69 Bucklin Street.

The Party

The party highlights the potential in older buildings throughout Providence and promotes the PPS mission to improve Providence through historic preservation and thoughtful design and planning.

This year’s venue has the same hard-edged feel of past Bash sites with unfinished concrete floors, high ceilings with exposed beams and brick walls.

Attendees can shake their groove thing in a boogie wonderland, with disco décor by Winter Bash co-chairs Paul Carpentier and Dennis DelSignore and their committee, and funkadelic 70s music and performances by WRIK Entertainment and TEN31 Productions.

Costumes are optional, but encouraged.
