The shooting occurred in the Hartford section of the city.
Three males were shot on Whelan Road, and the victims all went to the hospital.

About Incident
Police responded to Whelan Road shortly after 4 PM on Tuesday for a report of shots fired.
According to police, they first encountered two male gunshot victims with wounds to their legs.
One victim was in his 40s, and the other in his 30s; police say they were uncooperative.
Both victims were transported by rescue to Rhode Island Hospital.
Police say spent shell casings were found at the scene.
A third victim — a male in his 40s — was later dropped off at Rhode Island Hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg.
There are no suspects at this time; detectives are investigating.
