The area is about four blocks from Rhode Island Hospital. This is the 6th murder in the city this year.

Providence Police have confirmed that the victim was 18-years-old.
The shooting took place at approximately 5:00 PM on Sunday.
The Providence Police are onsite and investigating.
Police have not released the victim's name and are not providing information on the suspect or suspects at this time.
