Transfer Portal: 9 URI Rams Headed Out, PC Scores Shooting Guard
As of Monday, more than 1,650 men’s basketball players have entered the transfer portal. Some of the teams of note that have been hit the hardest by transfers are:

The Providence College Friars have landed two quality players from the transfer portal over the past couple of weeks, 7-footer Christ Wilson Essandoko from St. Joe's and point guard Bensley Joseph from the University of Miami.
Then on Monday, the Friars announced that they signed Georgia shooting guard Jabri Abdur-Rahim, who is 6'8". He previously played at the University of Virginia. He averaged 12 ppg last year for the Bulldogs.
Clearly, the Friars need more with the loss of Devin Carter (declared for NBA), Josh Oduro (graduation), Ticket Gaines (graduation), Rafael Castro (transfer), and Garwey Dual (transfer).

Nine members of this year's URO men’s basketball team have entered the portal.
To date, one has signed on to a new school.

Brandon Weston - Sophomore | Shooting Guard | 6' 5" | 200 Lbs
Only Montgomery has signed. He is returning to Bradley, the university he attended prior to entering Rhode Island.
