A convenience store in Providence was robbed at gunpoint overnight.

About Incident

Shortly after 1 AM on Saturday, Providence Police were called to Broadway Express for a report of an armed robbery.

The victim - a store employee - said that a man dressed in black with a black face mask had come into the store, and pointed a gun at his head.

The suspect then demanded all the money in the register.

According to the victim, the suspect took an undisclosed amount of money from the register and fled the scene on foot.
