Man Reports Being Carjacked by Men in Ski Masks in Providence

A man told police he was carjacked by three masked men in Providence over the weekend.

On Saturday afternoon, police say a man came to Central Station on Washington Street to file a report of a carjacking.

According to police, the man said he had been leaving a club Friday night shortly before midnight near Broad Street and Stanwood Street.

He said that as he got into his vehicle, three men wearing black ski masks opened driver side door, grabbed him, and told him to get out of the vehicle. 

The victim said he complied with the suspects’ orders, who then got in his vehicle and drove off.  The victim said his phone was in the vehicle and also stolen. 

Detectives are currently investigating.
