Police Release Photos of Suspects in Recent Pharmacy Opioid Robberies in Providence

Police say this is the suspect they are seeking in the latest opioid robbery at a pharmacy in the city.
Providence Police detectives announced Tuesday that they are seeking information from the public related to two separate robberies that have recently occurred within the city. 

They released photos -- and are asking for help from the public.

As GoLocal first reported, a robbery occurred at AJ’s Pharmacy on Smith Street on February 2, 2022.  

According to police, the suspect displayed a firearm and demanded money and prescription drugs from the pharmacy. The subject is described as a male, 5’9”-6’ tall, wearing a white hooded sweatshirt with a black knit hat, gray sweatpants, multi-colored sneakers and carrying a black backpack.

Days later, a robbery occurred at the Walgreens on Atwells Avenue in Providence on February 14, 2022

The suspect reportedly entered into the pharmacy, displayed a firearm and demanded prescription drugs. The subject is described as a white male, approximately 6’tall, wearing a green hooded sweatshirt, black pants, tan boots and carrying a black backpack.
