Police Investigating Report of Robbery at Gunpoint at Providence Liquor Store Over Weekend
Providence police are investigating a report of an armed robbery at a liquor store in the city over the weekend.

Shortly after 10 PM on Saturday night, police responded to a report of a robbery at gunpoint at 474 Plainfield Street — Three Ring Liquors.

At the liquor store, police spoke with the victims who said they were robbed at gunpoint.
They told police the suspect was wearing a black mask and pointed a small black firearm at multiple clerks, demanding money out of the cash register.
According to the victims, the suspect took between $300 and $400 dollars and then fled.
Detectives are currently investigating.
