Providence Police Investigating Report of Shots Fired at Occupied Vehicle Over Weekend
Providence Police are investigating a report of shots fired at a vehicle in the city on Saturday night.
Earlier in the day, police responded to shots fired on the East Side.

Shortly before 10 p.m. on Saturday, police responded to a report of shots fired on Berlin Street, off Chalkstone Avenue.
A woman told police she was sitting in a vehicle with two other occupants when she said another vehicle pulled up behind them.
According to the woman, two men proceeded to get out of the car that approached and fired shots at their vehicle from behind.
Police observed multiple bullet holes in the vehicle the woman had been in — as well as multiple shell casings in the road on Berlin Street.
Providence police are currently investigating.
