Police Investigating Stabbing in Providence Monday Night -- Second in 24 Hours

Providence Police are investigating a report of a stabbing in the city on Monday night.

Shortly before 11:30 P.M. on Monday, police responded to Superior Street for a report of a stabbing.

Police say they found a male subject collapsed onto the kitchen floor suffering from serious stab wounds. 

Rescue arrived and transported the victim to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment. 

Police searched the area for the suspect and weapon, but were not able to locate either.
