Record Number of New Coronavirus Cases in RI — Watch Raimondo at 1 PM

Rhode Island recorded its highest level of COVID-19 cases to date on Wednesday — as well as eight additional fatalities. 

Governor Gina Raimondo and officials will be LIVE at 1 PM on Thursday for their weekly coronavirus update.

The Rhode Island Department of Health reported 566 new cases were identified on Wednesday, bringing the state’s total to 35,750.

Hospitalizations are now at 182 in the state, with 20 people in the ICU and 11 on ventilators.

There have now been 1,222 fatalities to date. 

On a total of 1,200,751 tests, 1,153, 750 have been negative.
