Multiple houses and a car were found to have bullet holes, following a report of shots fired in Providence overnight.

Shortly after midnight, police responded to Greeley Street off of Branch Avenue by Rt. 146 following a call for shots fired.

Police met with a homeowner who said she was sleeping when she heard gunshots fired into her home.

According to police, bullet holes were found in the house, as well as a car parked nearby outside.

Police said a bullet hole was found in a home on Russo Street as well.

Detectives are currently investigating.
