PAGE 1 Patriarca upset about the Indictment of Sciara
Jackie Nazarian — the longtime Patriarca family enforcer was murdered after he spoke out about taking over for Patriarca when the Boss was sick. Another Patriarca loyalist was arrested and was represented by criminal defense attorney Charles Curran - Patrairca’s personal attorney.
According to an informant, Patriarca “was disturbed over the local Grand Jury’s returning an indictment against Rudy Sciara for the murder of Jackie Nazarian as he, Patriarca, understood that very little evidence had been presented to the Grand Jury, and Patriarca is having Sciara’s attorney, Charles Curran, find out went went wrong with the Grand Jury.”
(Editor's Note: FBI files spell Sciara with one "r", while court documents and Providence Police spell it with two "r" s.)
PAGE 4 Patriarca pays wife’s hospital bill by peeling off $1500 in cash
As Raymond Patriarca visited his wife at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, he paid for the “very expenseve room” in cash. As he meet with the doctor “he peeled off $1,500 and offered the same to doctor in payment…he was reluctant to pay same through the regular billing channels.”

According to FBI documents, The same UNMAN told RAYMOND that he worked it out with him to the extent that the Governor gets 25 thousand, UNMA will get 15 thousand which consist of 5 thousand from him, not identified, and 10 thousand from Narragansett. The total will be 75,000, 25 thousand of which will go to Governor Nottee and ‘We’ll wind up with 50 thousand whichh we’ll get for a period of 5 years at a rate of 10 thousand a year.”
This is tied to additional racing dates/the installation of lighting for night racing at Lincoln Downs.
This also connects Patriarca to control of unions. “The union representative said he would do anything RAYMOND wants him to do and said that he would go to work on the complaint of REDACTED brothers and see what he could do.”

It has also shown definite connections between Patrairca and the New York City hoodlum element and has strongly indicated that Patriarca is a member of the “commission.”
